Stan
Hornagold is a Project Manager and Chartered Quantity Surveyor
(Construction Cost Specialist), with 30 years experience in project
management, which includes private sector and public sector
projects.
He specialises in the management of complex programmes involving
large numbers of stakeholders. He was an adviser to both the UK and
French governments on the assessment of the bids for the Channel
Tunnel.
In 1987, he formed Hornagold & Hills, Management
Consultants, which manages capital projects and delivers
organisational change.
From 1998 to 2003, he was also the Programme Director for the
delivery of London Underground’s Public Private Partnership. This
is the largest public/private finance deal ever undertaken
worldwide. During this period, Stan was a member of the Boards of
London Underground Limited and London Transport.
He has managed projects in the UK and internationally in the
commercial, health, housing, defence and transport sectors and is
now an independent adviser.
