APPLICANTS SOUGHT FOR LTGDC BOARD

Communities and Local Government (CLG) is looking to fill a number of positions on the board of London Thames Gateway Development Corporation (LTGDC).
The current Chair and three board members will complete two terms on the 31st October and in line with CLG standard practice, posts are being advertised.

£237 MILLION INVESTMENT PLANNED FOR THE LONDON THAMES GATEWAY

London Thames Gateway Development Corporation announced three year strategy for regeneration. Housing and Planning Minister Caroline Flint, has announced approval of LondonThames Gateway Development Corporation’s Corporate Plan for 2008-11. LTGDC plans to invest £235 million over the next three years to bring forward regeneration projects in the Lower Lea Valley and London Riverside – some of the most disadvantaged parts of east London .

LONDON THAMES GATEWAY REFUSES PLANNING APPLICATION

London Thames Gateway Development Corporation (LTGDC) has turned down a joint planning application from the Kingsway International Christian Centre and London Development Agency.
The proposed development on a 13.5 acre site including a 500 seat chapel, 8,000 seat auditorium, office building, 1,000 seat multi-use building, and multi-storey car park for 1200 cars plus cycles and motor cycles is part of land already allocated for high quality manufacturing known as the Beam Reach 5 Business Park.
